"Mary Dahm's" Rocker

Though not made by, or for her, Sister Mary Dahm (1883-1965), claimed this chair, adding a small label to the underside of the seat (in her handwriting), and stipulated its location, Room #18, (probably her retiring room). A large example, constructed of highly figured maple it retains an old shellac finish and Shaker woven seat.
