Maestro Antonio Pineda was a leading member of the Arts Renaissance that occured in Taxco, Mexico after the Mexican Revolution. His work exemplifies great Modernist design as well as superior silverwork. This pair of earrings reflects both in its elegant sculptural form and high quality of silver. It is in excellent condition. Hallmarks are: 970; SILVER, Antonio Crown;HECHO EN MEXICO, Eagle 17 (old style). Currently screwbacks, this pair of earrings can be converted, if the purchaser desires, to posts or clips without damaging the hallmarks.
