"Young America." New York: Currier & Ives, 1857-72. Small folio. Vignette. Ca. 12 x 10. Lithograph. Original hand color. Narrow margins. Some old cracking at edges, but overall very good. C:6834.
An interesting picture by Currier & Ives from around the middle of the nineteenth century. Blue eyed, proud, and wearing Red, White & Blue, this was at least some people's idea of what "young America" looked like.
