Wrigglework Tin Cream Jug, Southeastern Pennsylvania, c. 1840. This wrigglework cream jug is a rare form and a fine example of the work of a Pennsylvania German craftsman. It is profusely decorated with tulips and other flowers. A similar example in the Philadelphia Museum of Art is pictured on P. 145 of the "Pennsylvania German Collection" by Beatrice Garvin. It has a fine old patina. Height 5 3/4 inches.
