A fine country Queen Anne drop leaf table with oval top, applied shaped skirt, and with oversized feet. Maple, with pine and oak secondary woods, in an old finish with scrubbed top. The use of oak for the frame, number of hand-forged nails, and the overly-heavy construction used all indicate a mid-18th century date and a probable York County, ME origin. Top 46" x 45 1/2", ht. 27".
