"FLOWERS" by, Eloisa Schwab 1894-1

Artist born Cuba, lived NY and NJ., studied Academy Julian in Paris, Art Students League in NY. Exhibited 1920-1960, Society  of Independent  Artists, Salons of America, and the Pennsylvania Academy. Listed in Who WAs Who, in American Art.

Daniel Gallery opened 1913 NYC,where this painting was exhibited for $125. Gallery closed 1932. "Champion of modernism ", New York Times. In 1946, gallery contents were auctioned by Parke Bernet. 

This painting is all original, and beautiful example of the coming Modernism movement.
