Each of square form with lobed corners raised on four low bracket feet.

The Beale family were involved in The East India Company in Canton. The crest is a unicorn's head erased.

Daniel Beale who had been a purser for the East India company became Prussian consol in 1787- often a device to stay in Canton against the wishes of the Company and in 1791 founded the private firm of Cox & Beale.
