A circular plain creamware salad bowl with a raised hollow foot and fluted sides like a silver monteith.

 

Dimensions: 10 1/2 inches diameter x 5 3/4 inches high.

 

Provenance: Swedish Private Collection. Reference: "Creamware and other English Pottery at Temple Newsam House, Leeds, A Catalogue of the Leeds Collection" by Peter Walton, see Page 101-102, # 374 for the same bowl described as Staffordshire or Yorkshire.
