Physical Graffiti - English School Desk

Super example of incidental art. What started off as a standard-issue school desk over time developed into a participatory work of defiance and a record of school days/years of the past.

Most dates are from the mid-1920s with one errant “1943.” Some of the surnames are: Leitch; Robin; Hunter; Boyd; Somerville; Marshin; Bonnar; Black; Grant; Stephen; Conner; Baxter; Hately; Irvin; Lamont and Dunford.
