A handmade Christmas ornament of a woman sitting in a shoe. The woman was made from lithographed paper and the shoe was made from gold foil paper imported from Dresden, Germany, which was glued onto cardboard and embellished with paper lace. It retains the original string hanger. It descended through the family in Baltimore, Maryland that made it in the 1870s or 1880s.
