Established on July 4, 1976, American Spirit Antiques specializes in pre-1860 American Furniture and accessories. Our emphasis is on structural originality in our furniture.

We feature a varied and ever changing inventory of high country furniture from the Queen Anne, Chippendale, Federal and Sheraton styles to North Shore Paintings, Weathervanes, Spatterware, Carved Eagles, and Leather Books.

We specialize in Tiger Maple, Flame Mahogany, Flame Birch, Figured Cherry and Grain Painted furniture. You will always find Figured woods in our inventory. We also specialize in Spatterware, the naively decorated ceramics, favored by the Swiss and German populations in Pennsylvania.

Our inventory of New England, North Shore and Boston School painters is extensive. We have works by Anthony Thieme, Emile Gruppe, Aldro Hibbard, Stanley Woodward, Charles Curtis Allen, Anthony Cirano, Otis Cook, Carl Peters, Max Kuehne, William Lester Stevens, and other lesser-known artists.
