Important Delaware Indian gunstock war club with incised carved decorations and wrought iron blade (has blacksmith makers touch-marks). Good condition, the club has a period blacksmith repair where the club apparently broke at some point in its early history; cracks, wear, minor losses, very tip of metal blade has minor bend. Unusual "cross" motif decorative carving which appears to be influenced by Native American trade silver of the period. Circa 1830-1840's.
