A stunning Navajo, American Indian hand woven transitional yarn rug in warm red, beige, and black/brown wool. Circa 1890s, woven in a classic pattern of the period often associated with designs commissioned by the Hubbell Trading Post, in Ganado, Arizona. Original condition with minor conservation (stabilization and cleaning). This textile makes for a great wall hanging, floor covering, or upholstery accent piece.
