Conrad Woerner made a good shoe, but he probably wasn't nearly as talented as the sign-painter he hired. A classic piece of American Folk Art in totally undisturbed original condition. 19" high; 32" wide. It was found in Chicago and is on the early side, probably the third quarter of the nineteenth century.
