Two black-painted silhouttes of children on a watercolor background with extensive white highlights, this composition is signed "Weston" and dated "1843"   Almost certainly the work of the Weston family portraits at 149 1/2 Bowery, New York City.  In a period appropriate frame under museum glass.  Minor toning and wear to the frame.
