Attributed to either the Bell or Eberly potteries of Strasburg, VA, this redware tankard is set apart by its exceptional color and condition.  The base glaze is a very light, creamy yellow that makes the manganese and copper decoration really pop!  It is also in excellent condition with only one minor notable rim chip.  9 3/4 inches tall.
