6.8 x 9.8 Antique Fereghan Sarouk Carpet, Sultanabad Province, Central Persia, Circa 1895

A fine antique Fereghan Sarouk carpet with an uncommon camel color field and in an unusual small room size format. The camel field contains a brick red and ivory medallion and is decorated with stylized flowers and what appear to be pears. Abrashed sky blue corner spandrels and a navy blue border decorated with cloud bands frame the field.
