Turned ash burl bowl.  Diameter 11 15/16’ to 11 1/8”, Height 5 1/4”.  Probably American origin during the first half of the 19th century.  Ex collection of Judith & Gary Gay of Milford, Ohio.  

Condition:  Exterior sides likely cleaned with clear mat finish added.  Otherwise excellent without issue having a very thin tapered wall and dry interior free of in use staining or deterioration. The better photographs courtesy of Cowan's Auction.
