Slip-Decorated Glazed Pennsylvania Redware Loaf Dish


This profusely slip decorated loaf dish, from the first half of the 19th century, was made in central Pennsylvania. The front of the loaf dish is in excellent condition with virtually no wear to the glazing. The back of the dish has a two by two inch area of surface loss from a stone imperfection in the pottery.  W: 18.25”, L: 11.75", H: 3.25”
