This pine pipe box, from the early 19th century, retains the original Spanish brown painted surface. The box features a lollipop extension on the back for hanging and unusual circle and cross incised carving on the front. The pipe box, likely from the New England States, is constructed of pine with hand wrought nails. The drawer front was cracked across the center and has been repaired. The brass pull is a period replacement. W: 7”, D: 4.5”, H: 19.5”.
