EXTREMELY RARE PAIR OF TUCKER PITCHERS WITH "AFFECTION" HANDLES DATED "1828" PHILADELPHIA

After the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston acquired our entire collection of 37 pieces of Tucker porcelain, we thought we had gone out of that business.  But we just couldn't resist these 2 pairs of pitchers and the pitcher and bowl set  because of their beauty and rarity.
This pair of low form pitchers is also known as "Walker Type" pitchers.  What makes them so rare are two details.  First, they are dated in gilt with their date of manufacture "1828".  Some collectors have waited a lifetime and still have not acquired a dated piece of Tucker.  That's how rare they are.  Second, the handles are labeled "AFFECTION".  The only other pair like this is in a private collection and pictured on page 92 of that great reference book "American Porcelain".  No public museum, not even the Philadelphia Museum of Art, has a pair.
This may be your only opportunity to acquire these rarities.  They are in beautiful condition and are a pleasure to behold.
