The English ceramics manufacturers in the early 19th century certainly knew how to appeal to their American customers.  This brilliant eagle transfer is especially striking against the dazzling white of the jug's body. The 15 stars above the eagle may represent the 15 states at that time 1792-5.  In beautiful condition overall with an invisible museum quality repair to a small spider in the base.  The decoration going down the handle is an extra nice touch.
