Sculptural metal radiating womens hands made for a washing machine in the 1930s. The six delicate hands are undulating on the scaloped edge of the agitator to make waves for washing. Faintly visible on 2 hands is raised lettering Gentle Thor Hand which I assume was the maker. I had one once before maybe 25 years ago and quite rare to find.. How beautiful it must have been to see this in the bottom of the washer. I think it is a museum design piece.
