This distinguished gentleman with stylized hair wearing a high-collared white shirt and waist jacket has all the hallmarks of “Mr. Boyd’s” work. The details in the profile features of the sitter are also quite striking attributes of the artist. Label on verso, Parson Lancaster of Uncle Chas Libby’s fam./of Portland, Me.
