Northwestern American, second half of the 18th c. Burl wood, black ash. Over-all excellent condition, expected wear. Provenance: Private Collection. This Native American oblong-shaped burl bowl exhibits exceptional form having a thin lipped rim and symmetrically shaped sides, all carved free hand. The bowl retains a fabulous natural, mellow patina.
