Probably Pittsburgh, PA, ca. 1820-1840.
Blown glass.
Excellent condition.
In a rare imposing size, this is one of the largest blown glass domes we have seen. The knobbed handles is impressed with a pattern seen on pieces from glass manufacturers in the Pittsburgh region. Beautifully blown with a folded bottom rim.
