English Large Red-Glazed Engine-turned Bird-spout Coffee Pot & Cover, Staffordshire,

The large redware bulbous-form coffee pot and cover are decorated with alternating designs of diagonal-reed engine-turned decoration of zig-zag lines and wavy lines.
The spout is in the form of a bird's head. The body is glazed with a deep red shiny glaze. The tip of the spout has an old break to the upper part of the bird's beak which has been invisibly repaired and there was a chip on the cover also invisibly repaired.
Dimensions: 10 inches high x 8 inches x 5 inches deep.
Mark: Small square Pseudo-Chinese impressed mark.
