This 7” Queen Anne teapot is marked by Townsend & Compton who worked in London.  Circa 1800.  It has the original wooden finial. The handle is metal.  It has 2 stress fractures on the lid which occurred at time of manufacture. There is nice beading on the lid.  The condition of the metal is good.
