There is not enough space here to describe the accomplishments of George Ohr, also called " The Mad Potter of Biloxi".  (Mississippi)  This piece was made before 1903, due to glaze color.  The clay is paper thin and it has a brown tinted glaze.  There are a few chips.  George Ohr is listed in the Who Was Who.  He died in 1918.  If you're not aware of his work please check the Internet for more pieces and their prices.
