Chinese Export Porcelain Rose Medallion Fish Bowl or Jardiniere,

The Chinese Export porcelain circular fish bowl or jardiniere is painted with alternating panels of interior scenes with mandarin figures and panels with birds on a dense green rose medallion ground with famille rose butterflies to each top corner.  Around the top of the pot is a band of Greek key in iron red and green enamel.  The top rim of the pot has twelve alternating. panels of rose medallion green ground with pink flowers and panels of famille rose flowers and a butterfly

The interior is painted with goldfish with an orange ground and gilt highlights amongst seaweed.

Dimensions: 12 1/4 inches high x 14 inches diameter (internal 11 1/2 inches)
