Dutch Delft Underglaze Blue & White Chinoiserie Plates,
De Klaauw Factory (The Claw Factory),
Circa 1750
Te set of six Dutch Delft Chinoiserie plates depict a large bug in a Chinese garden sitting on a rock. All within a shaped octagonal border. The rim in yellow and the wide border with a series of circles containing stylized flower heads and bugs. The reverse with underglaze blue painted O's and X's.
Mark: an underglaze blue claw painted mark and the numbers 150.
