Established in 1979, John Keith Russell Antiques, Inc. specializes in pre-Industrial Revolution American antique furniture in original or “as found” condition, with a special focus on the material culture of the Shakers. Our shop features a varied and changing inventory of high country furniture ranging from fine examples of the Federal, Sheraton, Chippendale and Queen Anne styles to country cupboards, painted and decorated furniture and Windsor chairs. To complement the furniture, we also offer fine examples of American pottery, folk art, period lighting, baskets and other objects of rarity and merit. As one of only a few Shaker specialists, our Shaker inventory is also varied and select. Items we have handled can be found in many collections, museums and most contemporary books published on the subject. Exhibiting at the following fine Antiques shows: Antiques in Manchester “the Collector’s Fair”, Manchester, NH; and the ADA/Historic Deerfield Antiques Show, Deerfield, MA.
