Roycroft Shops magazine pedestal, quarter cut American White Oak. Original finish with minor conservation. The Roycroft was a reformist community and played a major part in the Arts and Crafts movement in America. Elbert Hubbard founded the community in 1895 in the village of East Aurora, near Buffalo.
