Artemis Gallery is owned and run by Jesse Goldberg, who dates his entry into the antiques business to 1973 when he began dealing in Audubon prints, decoys and country furniture. By the late 1970s, he had discovered his current passion: the American Federal Period.

 

He has sold pieces to several major museums and especially enjoys helping those who wish to build Federal period collections. He has handled pieces by some of the greatest cabinetmakers this country has ever produced including Duncan Phyfe, John and Thomas Seymour, Samuel McIntyre and Michael Allison.

He is a long term member of the Antiques Dealers' Association of America (ADA) and is currently serving on its Board of Directors.
