An Original American Painted Mantel or fireplace surround. Lovely dark brown to yellow and faux marbling. Removed by a picker from a central Vermont home. This is a wonderful example of American paint done to recreate the look of the Vermont marble for a home that did not afford the real stone. The inside opening is about 40 inches wide by 39 1/2 inches tall.  In the back it has lovely old hand made, wrought iron, square cut, clinched nails. #A2822
