Linen valuables fire salvage bag previously owned by Colonel Joseph Dudley of Roxbury, MA, circa 1807

Colonel Joseph Dudley's linen firebag from Roxbury, MA 1807. used to evacuate valuables from the house in case of emergency.  Dudley square is in Roxbury and is named for Joseph Dudley, Provincial Governor of the Mass Bay Colony

in the 1650's.

Bag is in great condition.
